Nazarlo has represented his school, zone, Darling Downs region and State in the Under 12 Boys teams for Touch & Rugby League. In the sport of cross country he won his school cross country Under 12 Boys race and in doing so broke the standing record. From his performance at the Darling Downs Cross Country Championships he has been selected to compete at the Queensland Cross Country Championships. |

Swimming |
As a member of the Darling Downs Swimming team, Bryce won the silver medal in the Boys Under 13 years 50m backstroke and bronze in the 100m backstroke at the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships. At the Swimming Queensland Sprint titles he won the bronze medal in the 50m backstroke. He has been selected to swim at the 2023 Hancock Prospecting Queensland Short Course Championships and the Australian Schools Championships at Sydney Olympic Park. |

Rugby 7's |
As a member of the Queensland School Sport Rugby 7’s Under 18 Girls team, Anna and her team won the silver medal at the Australian Schools Rugby 7’s Championships held at Parramatta. From her performance at these championships Anna won the Players Player Award for Under 18 Girls and was selected in the Australian Rugby 7’s Under 16 Girls Merit team. She is a member of the Downs Rugby 7’s Under 17 Girls team to compete at the Queensland Championships at Ballymore in September. |

As a member of the Queensland Country team, Lucy came 4th in the Under 11 Girls race at the Australian Cross Country Championships at Canberra. Lucy has also represented the Darling Downs in the sports of Touch, Orienteering and Track & Field. |

Gymnastics |
Shari was selected as a member of the Australian team to compete at the World Gymnaestrada event at Amsterdam, Netherlands during July & August. The World Gymnaestrada is a world-wide, non-competitive event held every four years, attracting the largest number of active participants of any gymnastics event. |

Orienteering |
In the sport of Orienteering, Cassy has achieved some amazing results so far this year. She came 1st in the Senior Girls 2100m Sprint and 2nd in the Senior Girls 4700m Long Distance at the Queensland Schools Orienteering Championships in Miles. At the Queensland Long Distance Orienteering Championships held at Maryborough Cassy came 3rd in the W17-20A Class 3500m. |

Mary Duncan |

Endurance Horseriding |
Mary competed in the National Endurance Horse Event the Tom Quilty Gold Cup at Gympie. Mary and her horse Bonnybrooke Samarai completed the 160km journey in 9 hours and 52 minutes, placing them first in the Junior division. Mary also won Best Conditioned Junior as well as the Pat Slater Cup becoming the first Junior to win this prestigious Cup in its 20-year history. Mary is now ranked 6th nationally overall, against adults and juniors. |

Softball |
In the sport of softball, Evie has been a Toowoomba representative since 2020 and represented the Darling Downs since 2019. In 2023 she competed at the Under 16 Queensland Championships and has been a member of the Queensland Country Under 14 team. She was also a member of the Australian OZ Ball Under 14 team which travelled to Florida to play in the Babe Ruth World Series. |

Cross Country and Athletics |
Eden was the winner of the Brisbane Cross Country Series, a series of 7 races across Brisbane, she came 2nd at the Queensland All Schools Sport Cross Country Championships and 3rd at the Queensland Athletics Cross Country Championships in the Girls 9 years age group. At the Queensland Little Athletics Championships held in Townsville, Eden came 2nd in the Girls Under 9 years 800m with a time of 2:50, 3rd in the shotput and 5th in the discus. |

In the position of goalkeeper, Isabella has been selected in the Toowoomba Hockey Association Under 13 Girls Team 1 and the Hockey Queensland Under 13 Girls Cinders Hockey team to compete at the respective championships. She was also selected in the Toowoomba Hockey Association Under 15 Girls Hockey squad but had to decline due to Queensland rep commitments. |

In 2023 Bianca has captained the Queensland Under 18 Softball team to 4th position at the National Softball Championships. She also captained the Darling Downs School Sports Under 18 Girls team to 3rd position at the Queensland School Sports Championships. From her performance at this championship she was selected in the Queensland School Sports Girls Softball team. She captained this team to a bronze medal at the Australian School Sports Championships. This year she has also represented Australia at the Canada Cup International Softball Tournament. |

Deigo competed at the Darling Downs Primary Schools Athletics trials where he came 1st in the Boys 9 years 80m, 200m and long jump and third in the 800m. His big dream is to compete at the 2032 Olympics. |

Meg was a member of the Toowoomba Under 16 Girls Hockey team which place 2nd at the Queensland Under 16 Hockey Championships in Mackay. From her performance at these championships and at only 14 years of age, Meg has been selected in the 2024 Queensland Under 16 Squad. |

In the sport of orienteering, at Regional level William came 1st place in the scatter and 2nd in long distance in the Under 16 Boys division. At the Queensland Orienteering Championships held at Miles William won the gold medal in the Under 16 Boys sprint. From his performance at these championships William was selected in the Queensland Under 16 Boys orienteering team to compete at the Australian Championships at Perth in September. |

Para Cross Country |
At the Queensland Cross Country Championships, Rylan came 4th in the Para Under 14 years individual 2 km race and then raced in the 1km relay race where the team came 3rd. This performance qualified him to compete at the Australian Cross Country Championships held at Canberra in August. At these championships Rylan came 3rd, winning the bronze medal in the 2km range event, completing the race in 9 min. 50 sec. He also competed in the 1km relay where the team came 2nd bringing home the silver medal. |

Savannah co-captained the Toowoomba Under 13 Girls Hockey team to the grand final at the Queensland Under 13 Girls Championships. They narrowly lost the final but came home with a state silver medal and Savannah was the highest goal scorer of the championships. She then went on to vice-captain the Queensland team at the National Under 13 Championships at Newcastle. She has been awarded the Toowoomba Hockey Association’s Under 13 Player of the Year for 2023. |

Kate was a member of the Toowoomba Under 16 Girls Hockey team which came home with the silver medal from the Queensland Under 16 Girls Hockey Championships in Mackay. From her performance at these championships Kate has been selected in the 2024 Queensland Under 16 Girls Squad. |

Jayden competed at the Queensland Cross Country Championships in Hervey Bay in the Boys Under 13 years race, where he placed fourth after running a PB. He then competed at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Canberra where he placed 7th overall. He was asked to run in the Under 15 Boys relay team at these championships and the team placed 2nd in this event. Jayden has also been selected to represent the Darling Downs at the Queensland Track & Field Championships where he will compete in the Under 13 Boys 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m. |

Cooper is the Queensland Under 15 Eight Ball Champion for 2023 and has been selected in the Queensland team to compete at the Australian Junior Eight Ball Championships at Canberra in January. |

Riley was a member of the inaugural Queensland School Sport Boys 12 Years Netball team which competed and won the gold medal at the Australian Boys Netball Championships held in Perth. They won these championships undefeated, winning 10 out of 10 of the games they played. |

In 2023 Abigail has represented the Darling Downs & Queensland in the sports of Cross Country, Orienteering and steeplechase. She has been selected in the Queensland Under 14 Girls Steeplechase and Cross Country teams to compete at the Championships in Brisbane and Canberra respectively. She has also been selected in the Queensland Under 14 Girls Orienteering team to compete at the Australian Orienteering Championships in Perth, WA. |

Tahlia captained the Queensland Under 18 Girls Indoor Cricket Team at the Australian Indoor Championships held at Ipswich. This team won the championship for the second year in a row and from her performance at this championship Tahlia was selected in the Cricket Australia Under 18 Girls Indoor Cricket team which will travel to Dubai for the World Indoor Cricket Federation Junior World Series in September. |

Bridie was selected in the Australian Under 17 Girls Softball team to travel to Canada to compete against teams from Mexico, USA, Great Britain and Canada. The Aussie girls finished 8th out of 27 teams and enjoyed this amazing experience. Bridie has also travelled to Japan in August as a member of the Queensland Under 18 Girls Touring team. The team played two games a day, both indoors and outdoors, competing against local high schools. |

Katie was a member of the Darling Downs School Sport Triathlon team and came 18th at the Queensland School Sport Triathlon trials and has been selected in the Queensland Youth Triathlon Team for the 23/24 Season. She won the Hell of the West Enticer Triathlon and the Sunshine Coast Trex Cross Triathlon for Under 14 Girls. |

Jack was a member of the Toowoomba Open Men’s Hockey team which won the championship and brought home the gold medal at the Queensland Open Men’s Hockey Tournament. He was also a member of the Queensland Open Men’s Country team who won the bronze medal at the Australian Open Men’s Hockey Championships. From these performances Jack has been selected in the Australian Under 21 Men’s Country Hockey Team. |

Timothy was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the Australian Athletics Championships in the Under 17 Boys 1500m event. In the sport of marathon running, Timothy finished 6th place overall with a PB of 15:02 in the 5 km race at the Gold Coast Marathon. He qualified and nominated for the Queensland School Sport and Queensland Athletics Cross Country teams. Timothy won the gold medal and in doing so broke the record when he ran the 3000m at the Darling Downs School Sports Championships. |

At the Australian Age Swimming Championships, Aiden won the bronze medal in the Boys 12-13 years 50m breaststroke Multi Class. At the Queensland Short Course Swimming Championships, Aiden won the silver medal in the 11–14 years Boys 100m IM Medley & 100m Butterfly Multi Class. He also won bronze medals in the 50m & 100m Breaststroke and came 4th in the 50m Butterfly, 100m Backstroke & 50m Freestyle Multi Class. |

Charlotte was selected as a member of the Darling Downs Under 15 Girls Volleyball team which competed at the Queensland School Sport Championships at Nissan Arena, Brisbane. She was also selected in the Queensland Under 14 Girls Volleyball team and competed at the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships in Bendigo, Victoria. Due to no local competitions in her home town of Dalby, Charlotte regularly travels to Toowoomba and Brisbane to train and compete. |

Rylee was selected to represent Queensland at the Australian Athletics Championships, competing in the Under 14 Girls 800m and high jump, where she place 4th. She represented Queensland in the heptathlon at the Australian Combined Championships where she placed 5th with a national qualifier for 2024. Rylee won the 2023 Glennie Gift and won the 400m & 800m races setting new records in both at the International Coast to Coast meet at Runaway Bay against Australian, USA & New Zealand athletes. |
