Luke was a member of the Queensland Under 15 Boys Indoor Hockey Team which won the gold medal at the Under 15 National Indoor Hockey Championships. Luke is also a member of the Queensland Hockey Under 18 Development Squad and the Toowoomba Under 18 Men’s team which will compete at the State Championships. |

Charlie was a member of the Queensland Under 18 Baseball team which won the title at the Australian Youth Baseball Championships in Sydney in January. He plays Mens Division 1 Baseball in the Greater Brisbane League and travels to Brisbane 4-5 times per week for training and games. As there were no Darling Downs teams participating in the Queensland School Sport Baseball Championships Charlie was selected in the Met West School Sport team to compete at these championships. |

Aquathlon |
Elkie placed third at the Queensland School Sport Aquathlon Championships at Hervey Bay in February and this secured her a spot on the Queensland team to contest the National Championships in Devonport, Tasmania in March. |

Tomas was the youngest member of the Queensland team to be selected to compete at the National Cricket Inclusive Championships held in Brisbane. He was a top order batter and bowler at these championships and Queensland finished 4th overall. |

Violet broke the Under 9 Girls 400m record and the 37 year old 800m record at the Downs & South West Regional Little Athletics Championships. She then went on to win the gold medal in both the 400m and 800m races at the Little Athletics Queensland Championships held in Townsville, running a 1:13:03 in the 400m and a 2:43:15 in the 800m and finishing within a second of the Queensland record in both races. |

As a member of the Darling Downs Athletics team, Jake competed at the Queensland Athletics Championships and from his performance at these championships qualified for the Australian Athletics Championships in the 100m hurdles, long jump & 100m sprint. Jake was chosen to represent Queensland in the Little Athletics New Zealand Development Tour where he won the silver medal in the 200m sprint and the gold medal in the 4 x 100m relay. At the Little Athletics Queensland Championships Jake won the silver medal in the100m hurdles (equaling the Qld record with a time of 13.23 secs.), and bronze in the long jump and 200m sprint. |

Bradley was a member of and co-captained the Queensland Under 13 Boys Indoor Hockey team at the National Indoor Hockey Championships. He has been selected in the Queensland Under 15 Boys No. 1 Hockey team to compete at the Australian Under 15 Boys Hockey Championships at Darwin in April. |

At the Queensland Little Athletics Championships Emily won the Under 10 Girls Discus with a throw of 28.81m and the Under 10 Girls Shot Put with a throw of 9.79m. At the Little Athletics Downs & South West Regional Championships Emily won both Discus & Shot Put and broke a 36-year-old regional shot-put record with a throw of 9.73m. She has consistently broken the Toowoomba home and away records for Shot Put and Discus, both of which are now further than the boys. |

Disc Golf |
Joe is a member of the Toowoomba Disc Golf Club and after playing for only 14 months has won the Junior section of the Professional Disc Golf Association Garden City Open. He travelled to New Zealand in February and competed in the New Zealand National Disc Golf Championships where he placed 4th in the Juniors. He has received an invitation to attend the PDGA World Junior Disc Golf Championships in Illinois in June, 2023. Only 500 juniors worldwide are invited to attend these championships. |

Monique was selected as member of the Queensland Under 16 Beach Volleyball team to compete at the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships. She has also been selected to play in the Queensland Under 17 Girls Beach Volleyball Tour Championships and the Queensland Beach Volleyball Schools Cup. Monique has been selected in the Darling Downs Under 15 Girls Volleyball team to compete at the Queensland Championships and has been invited to train at the AIS in Canberra for the trials for the Australian Under 16 Volleyball team and if selected will travel to China to compete in the Asian Championships. |

At just 12 years old, Jacinda has been selected in the Queensland Under 14 Girls Beach Volleyball team to compete at the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships. She has been playing in the Queensland Beach Volleyball Tour events and participating in the Queensland Volleyball Emerging Talent Program in the lead up to the national championships. |

At the Queensland Swimming Sprint Championships, Bailey won the gold medal in the 14 years Boys 50m Freestyle, Backstroke & Breaststroke. At the Queensland School Sport Swimming Championships Bailey won the gold medal in the 50m Freestyle & Backstroke, silver in the 50m Breaststroke & bronze in the 100m Breaststroke. From his results at these championships, he has been selected in the Queensland School Sport Swimming Team to compete at the National Titles. In a swim meet at Dalby Bailey broke a 40 year record in the 100m Freestyle held by Darren Stewart. |

Bridie was a member of the Queensland Under 16 Softball team which won at the Australian championships, beating NSW in the final. She was awarded Most Valuable Player of the final and was also named Pitcher of the Tournament. From her performance at the Nationals Bridie was selected in an Australian Squad to attend the Australian Institute of Sport. After a week of intense training at the AIS a team will be selected to represent Australia at the Canada Cup Tournament in July. |

Matt was a member of the Queensland Under 18 Indoor Hockey team which competed at the National Under 18 Indoor Hockey Championships in January. From his performance at these championships, he won several Player of the Match awards and was selected into the Australian Futures Under 18 Indoor Development Squad. In the sport of field hockey Matt is a member of the Queensland Hockey Under 18 Development Squad and is a member of the Toowoomba Under 18 Men’s hockey team which will compete at the Queensland Under 18 Hockey Championships in Townsville in May. |

At the Australian Cycling BMX Championships Dusty placed 1st in the10 year Girls 20 inch bike and 8-10 year girls cruiser class. From this performance she gained automatic qualification to represent Australia at the BMX World Titles in Glasgow, Scotland in August. |

She has also been selected in the Darling Downs 13-19 years Girls Hockey team which will compete at the State Championships at Brisbane in May. |

From her performance as goal keeper in the 14 years & 15 years age groups at the National Club Futsal Championships held in Sydney, Jordon was selected in the Australian Under 15 Team to travel to Spain. She has also been selected in the Australian All Stars team to travel to Brazil for the Centre of Excellence Tour in August. Jordon competed in her first International Futsal tour at the Viti Cup in Fiji as captain of the Queensland Elite Girls Futsal team, which ultimately won the tournament. |

Dylan was the goal keeper of the Queensland Under 13 Boys Indoor Hockey team which won the gold medal at the Australian Championships in January. He won numerous Player of the Match awards at these championships. Dylan has been selected in the Queensland Under 15 Boys Hockey team to compete at the National Championships in Darwin in April. |

At the Queensland Athletics Championships, Mason won the gold medal in the Men’s Discus Throw with a new PB. This performance qualified him to compete at the Australian Athletics Championships. He also competed at the Darren Thrupp Shield Meet in Discus Throw where he threw a new PB. Mason was invited to compete at the Brisbane Track Classic where, again he threw a new PB. |

Wrex has been selected in the Under 19 South West Queensland Futsal team to compete at the Futsal Queensland Championships in September. He has also been selected in the Australian Under 19 Men’s Futsal team to travel to tournaments in India in April and Spain in June. |

At the Queensland Swimming Championships Emma won the silver medal in the Girls 12 years 200m Butterfly and in doing so made the national qualifying time to gain her entry to compete at the Australian Age Swimming Championships in April in the 50m & 200m Butterfly events. |

Ellyse has been selected as a member of the Queensland Elite Futsal team to tour Fiji in September, 2023. She was also selected to play at the South West Queensland Club Futsal Championships at Coomera in April. In the sport of swimming Ellyse qualified to swim at the Queensland Sprint Championships in February and was a member of the Darling Downs team to represent our region at the Queensland School Sport Swimming Championships. |

Lachlan is a member of the Hockey Queensland Under 18 Men’s Development Squad and is training hard as goalkeeper in preparation for the Under 18 State Championships to be held in Townsville in May. Lachlan volunteers within the Toowoomba Hockey Association as an umpire and assists junior goal keepers. |
