Quarterly Incentive Awards for April - June 2018
             
    Amilia Schooley   Athletics After only just starting to compete in the 2000m Steeplechase this year, Amilia won a gold medal at a club meet in Brisbane with a time of 7:23:86. This qualified her to compete at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships held in Sydney where she won the silver medal.
     
     
    Chloe Randall   Cross Country At the Queensland All Schools Cross Country Championships, Chloe blitzed the field (which included five national cross country representatives) and came in 1st by 42 seconds. Chloe is two times Australian Cross Country Champion and is hoping to make it three in a row this year given her performance at the State Championships.
     
     
    Will Nielsen   Hockey Will was an integral member of the Queensland Under 15 Boys Number 1 Hockey Team which won the grand final against W.A. 3 – 1 making this team the Australian Champions.
     
     
    Harry Mintram   Clay Target Shooting At the National Sub Junior Single Barrel Clay Target Shooting Championships Harry placed 2nd in the final with a score of 98/100.
     
     
    Samson Ryan   Cricket and AFL From his performance as a member of the Darling Downs Under 19 Cricket team at the Queensland Under 19 Schools Cricket Championships, Samson was named Best All Rounder and subsequently selected in the Queensland Under 19 Schoolboys Cricket team to play against the NSW Schoolboys team in September. In the sport of AFL Samson has been selected in the Brisbane Lions Under 18 Academy Team & has also been selected to represent Queensland in the Under 17 AFL State Futures Series.
     
     
    George Tighe   Swimming George competed in five events (and achieved personal best times in all of them) at the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships at Chandler, Brisbane. He also won gold in the boys 15 years 200m Butterfly and bronze in the 100m Butterfly.
     
     
    Coda Stanmore   AFL After competing as a member of the Darling Downs Under 15 Girls AFL team at the State Championships in Cairns, Coda was selected in the Queensland Country Merit Team.
     
     
    Cooper Harm   Swimming Cooper won the silver medal in the Boys 10-12 years 50m backstroke at the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships. From this performance he was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the School Sport Australia Swimming Championships.
     
     
    Mia Dickeson   Karate At the Queensland Karate Australia Championships Mia won the gold medal in Kumite Kyu, silver in the Kumite BB and a bronze in the Kata. At the QKA Invitational Championships she won the silver medal in the Kumite.
     
     
    Josephine Illing   Swimming At the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships, Josephine placed 3rd in the Girls 10-12 years 200m Individual Medley and 2nd in the 100m Backstroke. From her performance at these championships Josephine was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the School Sport Australia Swimming Championships in Hobart.
     
     
    Nathan Appleton   Blackball Pool & Lawn Bowls Nathan has been selected to represent Australia in the Teams and Singles events to play at the Blackball Pool Nations Cup in Wales in November. He is currently ranked No. 1 in Australian by the Australian Blackball International Federation. In the sport of Lawn Bowls Nathan won the gold medal for Multi Disability Section for both Singles & Pairs at the Australian Open Lawn Bowls Championships held at the Gold Coast.
     
     
    Josh Ridley   Gymnastics Josh competed at the Queensland Gymnastics Championships where he placed 2nd in the Rings event and 4th in Floor event. From his performance at these championships he has been selected in the Queensland Level 9 Open Gymnastics Team to compete at the National Gymnastics Championships in Melbourne.
     
     
    Bailey Harm   Swimming Bailey won silver medals in the 100m & 50m Freestyle events at the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships, and these performances secured him a position in the Queensland team to compete at the School Sport Australia Swimming Championships to be held in Hobart.
     
     
    Keely Geiger   Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Keely won the gold medal at the Queensland Under 15 Girls Open Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi Championships and the silver medal at the Queensland Under 15 Girls No Gi Championships. She has also won the bronze medal in the Under 14 Gi & No Gi events at the QBJJC Brisbane Championships.
     
     
    Harry Weir   Cricket Harry has been selected in the Queensland Under 17 Cricket Squad.
     
     
    Jake Simpkin   Rugby League Jake was selected in the Queensland Rugby League Under 18 Origin Team to play the curtain raiser at the first State of Origin game for 2018. He has also been selected in the Under 18 Western Mustangs Rugby League team & the Queensland School Sport 18 Years Rugby League Team.
     
     
    Aidan Donaldson   Clay Target Shooting Aidan was selected as a member of the Queensland Team to compete at the Australian Clay Target Association’s Skeet Championships held in Wagga Wagga. Aidan won the Junior High Gun at these championships and was selected for the Australian Junior Postal Team.
     
     
    Cooper Webster   Cricket Cooper was a member of the Queensland Schools 10-12 Years Cricket Team who lost the grand final on the second last ball to S.A. at the Australian Schools Championships held in Barooga, NSW. Cooper was the only eleven year old in the team and was named Queensland Players Player by his team mates. He has been named in an inaugural Cricket Australia Elite Cricketers Under 13 Squad to attend a training camp at the new National Cricket Academy at Albion, Brisbane.
     
     
    Ellie Randall   Cross Country At the Queensland All School Cross Country Championships held at Yatala, Ellie placed 4th in her age group. She also assisted her school Fairholme College to place first in the school teams.
     
     
    Morgan Galvin   Cricket Morgan was selected in the Queensland School Sports 15 Years Cricket team to compete at the Australian Schools Cricket Championships held in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
