Quarterly Incentive Awards for January - March 2017
           
Amalgamated Pest Control Incentive Award   Laurel Gannon   Orienteering Laurel was selected in the Australian Schools Orienteering team to travel to Auckland and Rotorua, New Zealand for a Trans Tasman competition.
           
Amalgamated Pest Control Incentive Award   Max Hardy   Hockey Max was selected as a member of the Queensland Under 18 Mens Hockey Team to compete at the Australian Championships in Tasmania. He was also selected in the Under 18 Mens Indoor Hockey Team to compete at the Australian Championships in Wollongong.
           
McConachie Stedman Incentive Award   Belinda Slatter   Para Athletics Belinda competed at the Queensland Junior Athletics Championships where she won gold medals in the Under 20 Para 100m & 200m and a silver in the Under 20 Para 400m. From here she went on to compete at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships where her performance gave her personal bests in the Under 20 Para 100m, 200m & 400m.
           
McConachie Stedman Incentive Award   Lily Burns   Athletics At the Queensland Junior Athletics Championships, Lily won a gold medal in the Under 16 Womens 400m and bronze in the Under 16 200m. She then went on to compete at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Sydney where she won a silver medal in the Under 16 Womens 400m.
           
           
Clive Berghofer Land Sales Incentive Award   Julia Gannon   Orienteering & Hockey Julia was selected in the Australian Schools Orienteering team to travel to Auckland and Rotorua, New Zealand for a Trans Tasman competition. In the sport of hockey she was selected in the Queensland Under 15 Girls Hockey team to compete at the Australian Under 15 Girls Hockey Championships in Sydney.
           
The City Golf Club Incentive Award   Johannah Goschnick   Hockey Johannah has been selected in the Under 18 Queensland Womens Hockey Team to compete at the Australian Championships in Tasmania.
           
           
Wilsonton Betta Home Living Incentive Award   Courtney Martinelli   Shooting At the Australian Age Championships in Sydney, Courtney won a gold medal in the 12-16 Age Group and a gold for overall in 3P discipline. She also won a silver in her age group for Prone discipline and a bronze for overall in the air rifle discipline.
           
The Athletes Foot Incentive Award   Mia Stower   Netball Mia has been selected in the Queensland Under 17 Womens Netball Team to compete at the Australian Netball Championships in Canberra.
           
Toowoomba Carpet Court Incentive Award   Declan Trezise   Track Cycling From his performance at the Queensland Junior Track Championships, Declan was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the Australian Junior Track Championships in Sydney. Here he placed 8th in the Under 17 Mens 7.5km scratch race, 15th in the 500TT and 17th in the 200m Sprint qualifying. He was in the Queensland No.1 team for the team sprint as the 2nd rider, and they finished 6th overall.
           
Hip Pocket Workwear Incentive Awards   Emma Stevens   Cycling At the Queensland Junior Track Championships, Emma won a silver medal in the 500m Time Trial and bronze in the Match Sprint and Kieren events. Following these performances she was selected in the Queensland Junior Track Team to compete at the National Championships in Sydney.
           
Holmes Smash Repairs Speedliner Incentive Award   Evan McLean   Water Polo Evan competed at the Queensland Under 16 Water Polo Championships held in Brisbane, where his team won the championship and Evan received the MVP Award. He has also been selected in the Queensland Under 17 Mens team to compete at the National Championships on the Sunshine Coast, and in the Under 18 team to compete at the Club Nationals.
           
Downs Group Training Incentive Award   Jack Hawthorne   Hockey Jack was a member of the Queensland Under 13 Indoor Hockey Team which finished 3rd overall at the National Indoor Hockey Championships held in Wollongong.
           
Neil Mansell Group Incentive Award   Daniel Ost   Indoor Cricket Daniel has been selected in the Under 15 Queensland Indoor Cricket Team to compete at the Australian Indoor Cricket Championships in Mackay.
           
McDonald's Restaurants Toowoomba Incentive Award   Quinn Burling   Swimming At the Queensland School Sport Swimming Championships, Quinn won gold in the Under 16 years 50m Freestyle and silver in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 100m freestyle events. Quinn's success at school swimming follows on from her performance at the 2017 Queensland Sprint Championships, where she won gold medals in the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke.
           
Black Truck Sales Incentive Award   Brandon Spain   Muay Thai In January, Brandon won Teenage Fighter of the Year at the Australian Muay Thai Awards held at the Gold Coast. In February, Brandon competed at the Australian Muay Thai Championships, where he won the gold medal in the Under 18 age group.
           
TruSports Incentive Award   Darcy Habgood   Golf Darcy has been selected in the Queensland Junior Girls State Team to contest the Australian Junior Interstate Series. She has also been selected in the Queensland Womens Open Team to contest the Australian Womens Interstate Series. These selections following her performances at the Victorian Junior Masters, where she came 5th with a score of 1 over after 4 rounds, and also winning the Queensland Women’s Foursomes Championships.
