Quarterly Incentive Awards for January - March 2016

           
Amalgamated Pest Control Incentive Award   Declan Trezise   Track Cycling Declan finished 10th in the National Junior Track Cycling Series after competing in 3 of the 4 rounds. He won two silver and three bronze medals at the Queensland Track Cycling Championships and has been selected to compete in the Queensland Team at the Australian Junior Track Cycling Championships in Launceston.
           
McConachie Stedman Incentive Award   Anthea Moodie   Athletics At the Australian Club Athletics Championships held in Perth in March, Anthea won the bronze medal in the 16 years High Jump. In late March she also competed in the Club Hepthathlon National Championships in Sydney.
           
Rebel Sport Incentive Award   Evan McLean   Water Polo Evan has been selected in the Australian 15 Years Age Group Water Polo Team to travel to Hungary in July to complete at the European Junior Water Polo Championships.
           
Clive Berghofer Land Sales Incentive Award   Elizabeth Brown   Swimming Elizabeth won a gold medal in the 14 years 4 x 100m Medley Relay and bronze medals in the 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay and 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay at the Pan Pacific School Games held in Adelaide.
           
The City Golf Club Incentive Award   Lily Burns   Athletics At the Queensland Junior Athletics Championships, Lily won a gold medal in the 14 years 400m and a silver in the 14 years 200m. She then went on to represent Queesland at the Australian Junior Championships in Perth where she won a bronze medal in the 14 years 400m with a time of 58.57secs.
           
Geiger Group Incentive Award   Fraser Stewart   Swimming Fraser was a member of the Darling Downs Swimming Team which competed at the Queensland School Sports Swimming Championships held in March at The Sleeman Aquatic Centre, Chandler. He won 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal, and was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the National Championships in Darwin later in the year.
           
Wilsonton Betta Home Living Incentive Award   Brandon Spain   Muay Thai In February Brandon fought for the International Challenge belt against the number one New Zealand Champion in the Siam Cup Challenge and won, making him the Siam Cup International Champion. The fight was to be 5 x 2 min. rounds with full Thai rules and Brandon defeated his opponent by TKO in the second round.
           
The Athletes Foot Incentive Award   Darcy Habgood   Golf After finishing 2nd in the Queensland Junior Amateur Golf Championships in December, Darcy has been selected in the Queensland Junior Golf Team to contest the Australian Junior Championships and Interstate Matchplay series. Being only 14, Darcy she has another five years at this level of golf.
           
Toowoomba Carpet Court Incentive Award   Maddi McGee   Speedway Racing In January Maddi travelled to Tasmania to compete in the Australian Junior Sedan Title. Here she made it through the qualifying rounds to the main race. Later in January she travelled to Tasmania again for the Tasmanian Junior Sedan Titles where she finished 3rd, being the only female to qualify for this event.
           
Hip Pocket Workwear Incentive Awards   Tatum Stewart   Hockey Tatum has been selected as a member of the Queensland Under 15 No. 2 Hockey Team to compete at the Australian Under 15 Girls Hockey Championships in Wollongong in April.
           
Holmes Smash Repairs Speedliner Incentive Award   Emma Stevens   Track Cycling In January, Emma competed at the 2016 Queensland Junior Track Cycling Championships. She won gold in the Flying 200 metre and 500 metre Time Trial and came 4th in the 5km Scratch Race. This is the third year in a row that Emma has won the Flying 200 event.
           
Downs Group Training Incentive Award   Lucinda Jensen   Futsal, Soccer Lucinda was selected as goalkeeper in the Under 16 Football Queensland Team to compete at the Football Federation Australian National Futsal Championships in Sydney. Lucinda also plays for the South West Queensland Thunder Open Women’s Football Team as one of the goalkeepers in the National Premier League Football Competition.
           
Neil Mansell Group Incentive Award   Kamryn Dunemann   Golf Kamryn has been selected in the Darling Downs Open (Under 18) Golf Team as a Year 8 student. During March she also won the A Grade Ladies Millmerran Open and A Grade Middle Ridge Ladies Challenge. All this at only 12 years of age.
           
Sports Darling Downs Incentive Award   Rodney Pammenter   Speedway Racing Rodney represents Toowoomba with great pride in his chosen sport of Speedway, travelling all over Australia racing and winning against opposition with budgets ten times his own. In February he won the New South Wales Modified Sedan Championship at Lismore.
